About The Willett Arms

Residing just outside the historic town of Wimborne, The Willett Arms is a lovely pub & restaurant famous for freshly cooked pub-food, top quality, Cask Marque accredited real ales, and - what money can't buy - a warm, homely atmosphere. Here you'll find a big, grassy beer garden for whiling away those summer evenings, and roaring fires to by curl up by when there's a chill in the Dorset air.

A little local history

As a popular watering hole, we've certainly earned our colours. Taking our name from Ralph Willett and his family, who acquired the very land underneath our feet in the 18th century, our pub was a favourite haunt for the men and women of RAF Tarrant Rushton until the WW2 airfield closed in 1946.
